How to SEND money

  • In person
  1. Go to your nearest Hai Ha Money Transfer Branch or Agent location
  2. Inform your Consultant of where and how you want to send money to your Receiver – please look at your options under the “Money Transfer”
  3. Provide the transaction details to your Consultants – please includes the receiver’s full name, location, phone number, address and the amount you wish to send
  4. Show us an acceptable form of identification – this will verify your identity and the information that you have provided us
  5. Confirm the transaction details found on your Tax Invoice with your Consultant
  6. Pay the amount of money you wish to transfer and the service fee
  7. Notify your Receiver the transaction details
  • Over the phone (existing customer only)

*This is not available for Bank Deposit.

Call a Hai Ha Money Transfer Branch

  1. Confirm your personal detail to verify your identity  – this is only possible if you have made a prior transaction with us as we will have your identification on file
  2. Provide the transaction details to your Consultant -please includes the Receiver’s full name, location, phone number, address (optional) and the amount and currency of the money you wish to send
  3. Confirm the transaction details found on your Tax Invoice – we can send the receipt through fax or email
  4. Pay the amount of money you wish to transfer and the service fee through bank deposit
  5. Confirm with us your transaction to your Consultant to finalise the transfer
  6. Notify your Receiver your transaction detail – they can either pick up the money (Vietnam and Cambodia only) or our Office can deliver it to them (Vietnam only)

IDENTIFICATION

It is important that you present a form/s of personal identification when you send or receive money. We will accept an identification document with your photo. We will not allow you to send or receive money without the appropriate identification.

Please call us before hand to confirm which identification you will need to bring at a HHMT Branch or Agent location.

The following forms of identification are accepted:

  • Passport or National Identity Card
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Government-issued Benefits Card – Centrelink Card, Medicare Card
  • Government-issued Photo Identification Card
  • Student Card
  • Bank Account Statement or Credit/debit Card
